Introduction To Watercolour Painting

This course is an introduction to watercolour painting and something fun to try! It is especially for those who might feel unsure if they can do it or for those who want an easy way to start! You will learn a range of basic watercolour techniques and produce 2 small paintings to take home, under the step by step guidance of the tutor. You need no experience of painting - just a willingness to have a go!

Materials that participants need to bring to this class are listed below:

Watercolour pan set - 12-16 colours (Any intro set will do, often used are Winsor and Newton Pocket set) or similar tube set with plastic well palette

Watercolour paper - 3 x A4 sheets of 300gsm Cold pressed paper

Watercolour brushes - round brushes - small, med, large (approx nos 2, 6, 10)

HB Pencil

Eraser ( often preferred is a putty eraser)

This workshop is suitable for age 16+
