Chakra is a Sanskrit term meaning “wheel,” referring to the flow of life energy within the body.
Chakras are energy centers in the body that influence and balance our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. There are seven chakras, located from the base of the spine to the top of the head. Each chakra is linked to specific elements, nerve centers, and glands.
The main idea behind the chakra system is that energy can become blocked in certain chakras, so the goal is to improve energy flow throughout the system to promote overall well-being.
