Introduction To Safe Mushroom Hunting
This is Daniel's 4th year teaching people how to start their journey of identifying and eating common wild edible mushroom. Daniel is a member of local and national clubs such as the North American Mycological Association and has a certification to sell wild edible mushrooms in Pennsylvania and multiple other states. He will explain the required safety of identification, handling, and cooking. A packet of information that was presented will be included. Leave knowing what it takes to become a mushroom hunter. Ask as many questions as you need! Daniel loves supplying information to anyone interested in eating fungi from the woods and explains the current fascination with amateur mycology in multiple aspects. AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT EVENT: Foraging gear such as mushroom hunting knives, foraging bags, hand trowels, intro books, as well as cute mushroom stuff like crocheted mushrooms and more!
