Fort Ligonier has developed an innovative leadership seminar for young adults, 16-21 years of age, focused upon the growth of George Washington in Western Pennsylvania (1753-1758).
Fort Ligonier’s Education Department created the seminar for high school and college students (women and men) who are interested in developing their leadership potential, using the biographical example of George Washington at their same age, and at the identical location where he developed his leadership acumen through real life experiences.
This program will be performed using a day-long series of immersive experiences, historical interpreter engagement, and participatory programming! Students will gain new insights on strengthening their own leadership skills by using George Washington and the French and Indian War.
Program Begins: 9 AM
Program Ends: 4 PM
Lunch included.
Schedule to follow!
Application is REQUIRED and space is limited. See link below to apply for this unique immersive experience.
We ask that if you have participated in Fort Ligonier’s previous leadership seminars to understand, while your application will be kept on file, another may be chosen who has not had the opportunity for the experience.
