This in-depth training is for those interested in an introduction to the process and components of living shorelines in Delaware.
About this Event

This interactive training is open to scientists, engineers, landscape professionals, government entities, marine contractors and students who want to take the first steps in understanding shoreline processes and developing natural shoreline stabilization solutions, or living shorelines.

The 2-day, in-person event boasts multiple instructors from: USACOE, USFWS, Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, private consulting firms, and non-profit organizations. Topics to be covered include: types of living shorelines, site evaluation, design, permitting, plants, habitat creation, example projects, and site visits.


Attending both days of the training is required, coffee/snacks/lunch and training binder are included. Registration is $35.
