Introduction to income generation through Community Energy
About this Event
This workshop is hosted by the CARES Community Energy Launchpad in Collaboration with South of Scotland Enterprise. It will explore how communities can generate income through the development of community owned renewable energy, or by owning a stake in a commerical renewable energy development.
The session will include: case studies from community groups; presentations from organisations that can provide support, advice, and access to funding for community energy projects; and opportunities for networking.
The session will be suitable for members of community groups who are interested in developing enterprising opportunities for their communities and may consider a community energy project. No prior knowledge is required.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please register for a free place so we know how many people to cater for.
