Introduction to Bat Emergence Surveys (Buildings)

This evening course will provide an introduction to undertaking bat emergence surveys of buildings. There will be the opportunity to learn and use a range of bat detectors and night vision cameras (including thermal imaging and infrared cameras). We will discuss the pros and cons of different detectors and cameras. You will learn how to plan an emergence survey, record data and use a wide variety of equipment.

Please bring appropriate footwear, warm clothes, hand torch and head torch and snacks. If you have your own endoscope, please bring with you.
