Introduction to Bat Ecology and Surveying Buildings

Join us in person for a one day course all about bats, their ecology and how to survey them! You'll learn the basics of bat ecology and get hands-on experience with surveying buildings for roosting bats. We will have the opportunity to visit a known maternity roost during the course. Perfect for early career ecologists and anyone with an interest in bats.

The one day course will include a mixture of classroom based theory sessions (Including legislation, UK bat species, roosting ecology, field kit and BCT guidance) along with practical sessions where we undertake preliminary roost assessment surveys of buildings.
