About this Event

Doors open at 4:15 pm

True Nature - Kiva and Peace Garden

100 North 3rd Street

Carbondale, Colorado

The Connection Collective is a new supporter community of Connection is the Medicine Foundation — a collaborative space for people who want to participate in a more connected, intentional, and joyful community. It is designed to bring people together around shared purpose, meaningful participation, and a spirit of generosity that helps sustain the Foundation’s broader mission.

At a time when many people move between home and work with little space for deeper belonging, the Collective is meant to offer a kind of third space: a welcoming community where people can connect, share ideas, enjoy one another, and help shape something meaningful together.

This evening is a fluid, lightly held beginning — a chance to experience the spirit of the Collective and take part in the early shaping of a community rooted in connection, participation, creativity, and care.

As the Collective grows, it may include seasonal gatherings, curated community experiences, thoughtful communications, and member-led offerings that reflect the interests, gifts, and energy of the people involved.

The Connection Collective also supports the Foundation’s commitment to accessibility and scholarships, helping ensure that meaningful experiences remain available to a diverse and growing community. In that way, generosity helps make both connection and belonging more possible.

If you are someone who wants to be part of building a vibrant and participatory community around the Foundation’s mission, we would love to welcome you.

What to expect:

  • Light bites and beverages
  • A warm welcome and simple guided moments of connection
  • A brief introduction to the spirit and purpose of the Connection Collective
  • Conversation, mingling, and time in the Peace Garden
  • A socially alive atmosphere rooted in warmth, humanity, and shared participation
