Pax Christi Little Rock welcomes Errin Stanger, Executive Director of Providence Park, to our Speaker Series on Thursday, August 27 at 6:30 pm in Fitzgerald Hall on the Catholic Diocese of Little Rock Campus (2414 N. Tyler St). Her presentation, entitled Introducing Providence Park, will provide information on the plans for the development of this tiny home village in Pulaski County, Arkansas. This commmunity was designed to provide permanent, supportive housing for people experiencing chronic homelessness and is modeled after Austin's Community First Village. It offers affordable housing with individual homes featuring half-baths, communal kitchens, laundry, and medical/dental clinics, alongside amenities like gardens, a chapel, and income-generating opportunities through a market and makerspace. Pulaski County is a key partner in the project, which aims to house up to 400 residents in a supportive environment to help them achieve stability. Please join us! Admission is free and refreshments are provided. If you are unable to attend in person, you can view the livestream on our Pax Christi Little Rock YouTube channel at this link: https://www.youtube.com/live/O-Bd5YpjWtY?si=EBKTH9DSdaJyEbH7
