Support the accomplishments and achievements of the women of Arkansas as we honor the historical impact they’ve made in our great state. The goal of the Arkansas Women’s Hall of Fame (AWHF) is to honor, in perpetuity, women whose contributions have influenced the direction of Arkansas in their community or the state. The legacy of these great women should be shared and honored. The AWHF is dedicated to preserving the history of accomplishments and recognizing women across the state of Arkansas.
The nonprofit AWHF began as partnership between the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce and Arkansas Business Publishing Group. The North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce currently manages the event. The AWHF is guided by a board of directors, who empanel a selection committee to seek nominations from the public and choose the class.
The hall has inducted new members each year. Nominees are not limited to a certain field or accomplishment and can include pioneers, philanthropists, educators, entrepreneurs, athletes, artists, business leaders and political figures.
