Tripadvisor's Travellers Choice Winner The Sea Glass Studio is a welcoming place to do both. A space to have fun, get creative, ignite new passions and meet like-minded people. Everyone is welcome here, whether you’re local, or visiting Cornwall on holiday… you’ll be able to take a piece home with you to remember.
Our workshops are fantastic experience days – perfect for Birthdays, Families, Couples, Stag/Hen Parties and Work do’s too!
Let’s make magic together.
Jewellery Workshop - Stacking Rings
No experience neccesary - Suitable for total beginners :)
The process:
During this workshop, you will learn how to correctly measure, cut, file, solder, and finish your own pieces.
To start with, we will practice techniques and explore design options with copper before progressing onto using recycled 925. Sterling Silver for the final design.
All materials and tools will be provided. At the end of the day, you will take home 3x sterling silver stacking rings – as well as an organic Fairtrade cotton pouch and a little surprise!
Chain can be purchased if you would prefer to wear your rings as a necklace.
Additional information:
Attendees must be 16 years of age and above.
Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult (there is no extra fee). If you / or someone you know are wishing to attend a workshop and are under 16 years, please send me an email and I will be happy to help.
Sensible, closed shoes required and no loose clothing: things can get a little messy in a jewellery making environment and whilst apron’s are provided, it’s worth bearing in mind not to wear your very best clothes!
As this course is a full day, please bring your own packed lunch. Alternatively, if you’d like to treat yourself… Muddy Beach Cafe, Sunshine Studio Cafe and Baileys Country Store are all close by!

Ellie "What an incredible day! My sister and I were lucky enough to take part in one of Sadie courses. Sadie was such a wonderful host and instantly made us feel at home in her studio. It is such a beautiful, calm space, perfect for an afternoon of crafting away and chatting to the other lovely people on the course. I was so happy with the final product and I cannot recommend the course enough. Thank you so much Sadie!"
Hot Benching:
Once the course has been completed you will be able to hire 1 of 4 available silversmithing benches – fully equipped with tools included – for a day rate of £20. This will enable you to continue to develop your new skills independently. Please note, you will need to bring your own silver. I am happy to guide you on what you need to order and where from.

Extra's
Should you wish to wear your rings on a necklace a chain can be purchased :)
Meet Rip!
This good boy will greet and welcome you into ‘The sea glass studio’ upon arrival..
He loves cuddles (of course) and big long snooooozes on his window perch in the sunshine. Whilst we’re busy making away, Rip enjoys hanging out the window watching the birds on the river…
Fun facts, he’s 11 months old and is named after my favourite cowboy in Yellowstone 🤠
Please let me know if you're not comfortable / allergic to dogs and I will arrange day care for him :)
