Life Drawing Lab return with a new series of life drawing classes held in a beautiful vintage shop! These classes are designed to bring together Penryn's burgeoning arts scene and provide a professional yet exciting alternative to the life drawing scene.

This is a Drawing from Performance session in collaboration with Pole Artist Liv (@livvypole). This will involve fast-paced drawing from a moving life model - experimentation is encouraged. All artistic abilities are welcome - we also offer casual and slower paced sessions if preferred - see our other event listings for more.

The session will begin with a guided warm-up - intended to help you break free from the day's troubles and help you reach creative flow. We will slowly build up in pace throughout the session, with the model pausing often to allow us to capture full poses.

We will have different models every week: nude, clothed or costumed, we will also experiment with lighting, furniture, props and textiles to interesting subjects. Pose timings will vary, and can be flexible depending on the group's preferences.

Sessions take place at Three of Cups Vintage - 20 Lower Market Street, Penryn, Cornwall, TR10 8BG.

BYO paper, drawing boards & materials. Please note, this is a working shop so we unfortunately cannot use wet materials, e.g. paints and inks etc. Chairs will be provided, but you will need to bring something to lean on!
Sessions will begin promptly at 7pm, where the doors will be locked and blinds drawn for safeguarding purposes. Don't be late! We are also a licensed bar - so drinks will be available to purchase at the event.
