Ready to get your hands dirty and unleash your inner artist? Join us at Unity Community Centre for a 6-week Basics of Pottery class!
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
Introduction to Pottery: Learn about basic pottery tools, materials, equipment and safety procedures.
Hand-Building Techniques: Introduction to basic hand-building techniques to create pottery without a wheel.
Introduction to the Pottery Wheel: Learn to center clay and create basic forms using the wheel.
Trimming and Glazing: Learn how to trim, decorate and glaze your pottery pieces.
Kiln Firing: Learn about the firing process and bring home a few personally made items.
