This beginner-friendly course focuses on building awareness and confidence in the outdoors through hands-on observation and discussion. Along the way, we'll identify different species of trees, mushrooms, and fungi while exploring their traditional and practical uses. We'll also cover essential gear and considerations for day hiking, helping you prepare for future adventures with greater confidence.
Whether you're new to the outdoors or looking to deepen your understanding of the environment around you, this course offers a relaxed and engaging introduction to backcountry awareness.
