Making friends as an adult shouldn’t be this hard.
Common Ground is a guided speed-friendship night created for adults ages 24–40 who want to meet new people and form genuine connections in Moncton.
This is not a dating event or a networking mixer. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space where everyone arrives for the same reason: to have real conversations and potentially leave knowing a few more friendly faces.
What to expect in edition 1:
• Meet one new person at a time
• Talk for 5–7 minutes using a fun, thoughtful prompt
• Rotate and meet approximately 8–10 people
• Enjoy 90–120 minutes of guided conversation
• Start conversations naturally with our personalized tags
• Appetizers and drinks will be available
No awkward introductions or pressure to impress—just show up as yourself. You’re welcome to attend alone; most people will be coming to meet someone new too.
Come talk to strangers. Leave with fewer of them.
