Intro to Adobe Photoshop

This class is designed to introduce students to the basics of Adobe Photoshop. You will learn how to edit photos using the most essential tools, as well as some fun filters. You will discover how to isolate areas, work with layers, and add text, color and shapes to manipulate photos in infinite ways. You will also gain an important understanding of low-resolution vs. high resolution files.

Students must bring their own laptop to class and will need to download the free 7-day Photoshop trial if they do not have Photoshop installed already.

Instructor bio: Megan McConagha has been art directing and designing for 25 years. She uses Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to create logos, websites, magazine layouts, brochures and more for her clients throughout the country. She is excited to bring her knowledge of these robust, valuable design programs to the classroom.
