Tournament Details:
âĸVenue: DU Gymnasium
âĸDate & Time: Friday, 18th October 2024
Tournament Format:
âĸ The first stage of the tournament will follow a round-robin format, with all six teams playing against each other.
âĸ The top four teams will advance to the semi-finals, followed by the final match.
âĸ In the group stage, if any game ends in a tie, there will be no overtime. In the knockout stage, tied games will be decided through overtime.
âĸ If two teams have the same points, the ranking priority will be:
1.Head-to-head result
2.Point difference
âĸ In the semi-finals:
-The first-ranked team will play against the fourth-ranked team.
-The second-ranked team will play against the third-ranked team.

Format: 5-a-side, full court
Game Length:
Group Stage- In the group stage, the match will be of two halves. Each half will be of 6 minutes (Female playing time: 4 minutes total). Running clock.
Knockout Stage- In the knockout stage, the match will be of four quarters. Each quarter will be of 5 minutes (Female playing time: 6 minutes total). Running clock.
Breaks- The break between the two halves in the group stage will be 4 minutes. In the knockout stage, there will be 2 minutes break between quarters and 3 minutes at halftime.
Overtime- Overtime will be applicable only for the knockout stage and the duration will be 4 minutes.
o Female playing periods are flexible based on the agreement between team captains.
Registration Fee:
âĸ Current Students: 500 BDT
âĸ Alumni: 600 BDT
What Will be Provided:
âĸ Team Jerseys
âĸ Lunch & Drinks
âĸ 2L of water per team per match (additional water available at the venue, but bringing extra is recommended)

All teams are required to check in at least 15 minutes before their match. Please be on time. Or the tournament canât be finished in time.
The referees' decisions are final.
