Interpretive Walk Indigenous Medicines with Knowledge Keeper Lisa Hittrick
About this Event
Lisa has a passion for passing traditional teachings to the next generation and connecting community members to the land. During this walk, she will share insights into the local plant life and the traditional Indigenous medicines that thrive right here in our shared green space. Terri Ashcroft, Education Chair of the Henteleff Park Foundation, will share information about the history of the park. Whether you are a regular park walker or looking to learn more about Métis heritage and the natural history of the park, we would love to have you join us.
The walk will be on uneven wood chipped paths. Please dress for the weather and bring your insect repellent.
