Inside & Out: Understanding Emotions, Self, and Stress

This interactive workshop is designed to help participants deepen their emotional awareness, better understand their responses to stress, and build practical tools for navigating everyday challenges.

Participants will learn how to accurately identify and label emotions, explore how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected, and gain insight into how the brain and body respond to stress. Through a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic (body-based) practices, and psychoeducation, attendees will develop strategies to regulate emotions, manage anxiety, and respond rather than react.

The experience goes beyond conversation—participants will engage in hands-on activities including creative expression (art, music, movement, and writing), guided reflection, and skill-building exercises that support real-life application. We will also explore survival responses such as fight, flight, freeze, and fawn, helping participants understand their patterns with greater compassion and clarity.

This workshop prioritizes emotional safety and connection, creating a supportive environment where participants can share, learn, and grow alongside peers.

Each session includes a mix of education, interactive practice, and reflection—ensuring participants leave not just with knowledge, but with tools they can immediately apply in their daily lives.
