Planning an Indian wedding in Auckland is exciting. It is also genuinely overwhelming.

You are juggling vendors across the city, chasing quotes from people who may or may not understand what a baraat looks like, trying to figure out catering for 300 guests, finding a lehenga that actually fits your vision, and doing all of this while holding down a full-time job. Most couples spend months doing this research and still feel like they are missing something.

That is exactly why we built this expo. And last year, over 800 people walked through the doors. They left with vendors booked, ideas locked in, and a lot less stress on their plate.

We are back on 22 and 23 August 2026 at Soho Hotel, Mount Roskill — 10 AM to 4 PM both days.

• The venue — Soho Hotel Mount Roskill is the exclusive venue partner for this expo. Walk through the space, talk to the team, and see exactly what your big day could look like in a stunning setting right here in Auckland.
• Decorations — Hire N Chill Events is our exclusive decoration partner. Whether you want something grand and traditional or clean and modern, come see their work in person and talk through your ideas.
• Clothing and jewellery — Bridal lehengas, sherwanis, sarees, and jewellery sets. Try things on, see what works, and find pieces that actually match your style.
• Catering and food tasting — This is the part everyone talks about. Sample food from the SOHO hotel before you commit to anything. Biryani, starters, sweets — come hungry.
• Live DJ — Feel the energy of what your reception could actually sound like. Not a playlist on a speaker. A proper setup.
• Photography and videography, mehndi, makeup, invitations, and more — All the vendors you need, ready to talk, show portfolios, and give you real pricing on the spot.

Why this one is different

This is the original Auckland Indian Wedding Expo. Not a copy, not a new event borrowing the idea. We started this, we ran it last year with 800+ attendees, and the feedback was simple — people said it saved them months of searching.

Everything here is geared toward the Indian community in Auckland. The vendors understand your traditions, your guest list expectations, and what actually matters on the day. You will not have to explain what a pheras is or why you need a separate space for the baraat.
