India on the Line, Dr Das' debut exhibition brings her AHRC CDP funded doctoral research on telecommunication in colonial India to Exeter!About this Event
The exhibition delves into the everyday lives of staff employed in the Indian Telegraph Department to understand how technology played a role in the making and unmaking of the British empire in India. Through information boards, a multi lingual audio guide, an art installation and information boards, come dive into 20th century colonial India to trace the roots of the technological control that dominates our society today!
