International Yoga Day coincides with the Summer Solstice on Sunday, June 21st. Welcome and honor both in this Summer Celebration infusion on Friday, June 19th with Katie Ruiz, Certified Yoga Teacher & Sound Therapist.
If you are looking for a boost in energy, confidence, or resolve, this practice is for you. Will you radiate your worthiness?
-Flow practice intended to balance the Solar Plexus Chakra
-Radiate light & strength from your core with sun salutations and power pose challenges
-Stand in your stillness by tuning into your vitality, your life force, your breath
-Cultivate confidence, willpower, and self-esteem with sound bath
Stand in your greatness in celebrating Summer. The word Solstice derives from the Latin words Sol (Sun) and Sistere (To Stand Still). Using Sun Salutations to capture the energetic essence of the sun, this flow practice is designed to both move and to breathe in positions of power and stillness.
*Who should attend? Everyone is welcome to attend! No prior experience is needed. Please note, you will be getting up and off the floor during the yoga portion.
*What to bring? Wear comfortable clothes. Bring your yoga mat, pillows, bolster(s) & blankets & water bottle. The studio has yoga mats, bolsters & blankets if needed.
