Join Anna Nummelin, Belly Dance Instructor from Wausau Belly Dance for a fun 3-Week Summer Series focusing on FatChanceBellyDance® (FCBD®) Style group improvisation.
*What is FatChanceBellyDance®? This dynamic format blends Middle Eastern dance roots with contemporary world-dance styles, connection, and community.
*What will you learn and experience?
-You’ll learn the fundamentals of posture, zils (finger cymbals), FCBD signature movement vocabulary, and how dancers communicate cues to create seamless improvisation in the moment.
-Each week builds your confidence in technique, musicality, and group awareness—ending with a short guided combination to dance together! No previous experience required; all bodies and backgrounds welcome.
*What do you need? Please bring a set of 4 finger cymbals (zils).
ZILS: should be minimum 2.5 inches diameter and need to have 2 slits/holes for your elastic, not 1 single hole. Purchase Here:
