Skate Park 101 is designed to help young skaters build confidence, learn new skills, and safely enjoy our new skate park. Participants will be introduced to basic skate park etiquette, including how to take turns, be aware of other riders, and respect shared space. Instructors will teach kids how to safely approach and use ramps, rails, and other park features while helping them develop balance, control, and proper technique. Whether your child is new to skateboarding or looking to improve, this program will focus on progression, safety, and fun. Skaters will have the opportunity to learn and practice new tricks at their own pace in a supportive environment. Participants should bring their own skateboard and required safety gear. Date: July 11th Time: 9 - 10:30 AM Location: Oak Island Skate Park The program is free, but participants must pre-register to participate.
