Join Jo Boaler, Cathy Williams & the youcubed team for a weeklong summer workshop on Mathematical Mindset teaching.
About this Event

This half-day, weeklong workshop (8:00 am–12:00 pm PT) invites educators into a Mathematical Mindset approach through big ideas–based mathematics, aligned with the California Mathematics Framework.

Across five mornings, you will:

  • Experience rich mathematical tasks that promote deep understanding
  • Explore mindset-focused teaching practices that support student confidence and engagement
  • Learn practical strategies and teaching moves you can use immediately in your classroom

The structure is intentionally designed to support deeper learning.

Afternoons are open, giving you time to:

  • Reflect and collaborate with colleagues
  • Continue working on implementation
  • Connect informally with the youcubed team
  • Or enjoy the Stanford campus and surrounding Bay Area

This extended format allows for both immersive learning and meaningful application.

Participants will also receive a special opportunity for continued professional learning during the school year following the workshop.

Note: This listing is for the in-person workshop at Stanford University. Space is limited and early registration is recommended.
