Following the fantastic feedback from our Cyber Essentials training days in Manchester and London, we're bringing our free, in-person training to Scotland!
We know how valuable it can be to sit down with experienced assessors, ask questions and work through the requirements together. That's why we're taking these sessions to more locations across the UK, making practical Cyber Essentials guidance as accessible as possible.
Join us at The Place Hotel in Edinburgh on Wednesday 3rd November, 10am–4pm, for a free, interactive Cyber Essentials training day.
Whether you're working towards your first certification or preparing for your next renewal, our experienced assessors will help you understand the latest Danzell updates, what they mean for your organisation and how to approach certification with confidence.
Throughout the day, we'll work through the five technical controls, sharing practical examples, common challenges and lessons from real assessments, including:
- What's changed since Willow and where requirements need closer attention
- Getting your scope right, including legal entities, cloud services and remote working
- Checking multi-factor authentication coverage and patch management processes
- Preparing for Cyber Essentials Plus and understanding the updated sampling requirements
- Keeping controls working between certification and renewal
It's not just about understanding the requirements. It's about knowing how to put them into practice.
There'll be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, discuss your own organisation's challenges and learn from others going through the same process. Our aim is for everyone to leave with practical knowledge, greater confidence and clear next steps to take back to their team or IT provider.
The day is suitable for IT and security teams, compliance leads, business owners and anyone responsible for coordinating Cyber Essentials, whether you manage security internally or work with an external IT provider.
The training is completely free, with lunch and parking included.
