Ice Skating at Winter Wonderland

Whether your ice skating style is Torvill and Dean, or more Bambi on ice, this event invites you and residents from Florence Dock to share an incredible, classic London Winter experience.

This is the perfect opportunity to kick off the festive season in style – whatever your skate skills. Your ticket includes:

• 45 minute Skate
• Ice skate rental

In order to book and attend this session, you must be a current resident at Florence Dock on the day of the event. If you are not a resident and make a booking, your ticket will be cancelled.

Please note that tickets are non-refundable.

What should I wear?

Remember that the ice rink is open-air, so dress warmly and for the prevailing weather conditions.

Wear thick socks for extra comfort and don’t forget your gloves! You may also wish to bring a spare pair of socks to change into once your session on the ice has come to an end.

Please avoid wearing any clothes or fancy dress that might obstruct your vision, cause a trip hazard (e.g. long scarves or coats) or cause an obstacle for other skaters.

What happens if it rains?

The ice rink is open-air and the event will take place regardless of poor weather.
Remember to dress warmly and wear something waterproof if you are worried it might rain. You could also bring a change of clothes and spare socks if the weather forecast predicts rain.

Is this event accessible for those with access requirements?

We want for our events to be as accessible as possible – if you have a requirement the best thing to do is email us with details of your requirement at [email protected] and we’ll advise as to what we can do!

The session is accessible to wheelchair users.

Residents' Events at Folk

We may charge a nominal ticket fee for some events, when either a) the event has limited capacity and we want to encourage attendance, or b) the event offers value beyond our standard events, such as a food and drink element, travel, or access to an elevated experience. All ticket revenue from the nominal fee is reinvested back into making your event programme as exciting and diverse as possible.

We may take pictures at the events that will be used for marketing purposes, and that by attending you give your consent to be photographed and featured. Please let us know on the day if you don't want to feature in any photos,
