IBMB Invited Seminar: Prof. Victor Ambros

As part of the IBMB External Speaker seminar series, we are honoured to have a visit by 2024 Nobel prize winner Professor Victor Ambros.
About this Event

Professor Victor Ambros is the Silverman Professor of Natural Sciences at UMass Chan Medical School. Prof. Ambros was awarded the 2024 Nobel prize in Physiology and Medicine jointly with Gary Ruvkun for their discovery of microRNAs, a previously unknown yet widely conserved mechanism of post-transcriptional gene regulation.
We kindly request registered attendees to come 15 minutes before the start time to ensure entry. At 14h55 any remaining empty seats will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis.
