On Sunday the 9th of March 2025, Iain Abernethy and Leigh Simms will be teaching a joint seminar! The seminar will run from 11am - 3pm and take place at Trentham Academy, Allerton Road, Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 8PQ. The cost is just £35.00 per person! The theme of the seminar will be a deep dive into the functional use of common stances, “blocks”, kicks and other key aspects of kata. The topics covered will help karateka, of all styles, better understand the meaning and purpose of traditional kata. This will include a look at a range of under-practised traditional methods.
