Together, we're bringing you Austin's only FREE plus size clothing swap, a vibrant and welcoming event designed to create a safe space for women, nonbinary, and trans folks with plus size bodies.
About the space:
Outwellness is an inclusive Physical Therapy & Fitness environment that helps with Physical Therapy, Wellness, Gender Affirming Rehab, and accepts everyone as they are.
The Guide:
HOW TO SWAP
1. Bring: Gently used clothing, accessories and items that no longer serve you
2. RSVP: Recommended to help us plan for the crowd. We're growing fast!
3. Sort ahead: Pre-sort your items to make it easier for you and the volunteers.
4. Join the Swap: Show up, show out, and use our dressing room if needed. We love a good fashion show.
5. Share The Fun: Don't forget to tag us in your stories, posts, or reels with your finds. Use @islay_youslay
SWAP RULES
✨ Failure to follow these rules may result in immediate removal from the swap, leaving behind any items brought, and being banned from future events. ✨
Cleanliness: Items must be clean, free of stains, odors, pet hair, and bodily hair
No Damage: No holes, rips, broken zippers (unless part of the style)
Item Limit: Bring a max of 2 trash bags of clothing per person. No boxes unless you can dispose of them yourself
No Resellers: Resellers are not allowed. Violation will result in a ban from future events
No Kids at the Swap: Children 13+ can wait in the lobby area
No Aggressive Behavior: Running, pushing, or shoving is not allowed
Be Respectful: Do not grab items from others.
Show respect to Outwellness, event organizers, guests, and partner businesses
Sorting Guide:
Everyone is responsible for setting out their items with the help of a volunteer at the sorting station.
* Pants & Basic Tees/Workout Clothing
* Accessories/Bras/Purses/Jewelry
* Dresses, Jackets,Sweaters, Jumpsuits, Rompers & more
Day of Swap
Upon arrival head to the tables labeled SORTING with volunteers to hang up clothes and/or directions for other labeled tables.
Once your items have been sorted, swap your heart away!
