About this Event

A research-informed, conversation-led event for women who want to move, train, and live in alignment with their changing bodies, not in spite of them.

Our bodies don’t stop evolving at a certain age, weight, or life milestone. Hormones shift. Energy fluctuates. Strength expresses itself differently over time. And yet, the expectation to push through or follow one-size-fits-all advice remains.

This event is an invitation for aspiring and established founders to slow down, understand what’s actually happening in the female body across life, and learn how exercise, nutrition, and sleep can support, not fight, those changes.


What We’ll Explore

Together, we’ll walk through the major phases of a woman’s life, with depth where it matters most and context where it’s helpful.

Teenage Years (briefly)
Foundations of movement, hormones, and early patterns that shape future health

Reproductive and Productive Years (main focus)

  • Hormonal rhythms and cycle-aware training
  • Musculoskeletal health and injury prevention
  • Pelvic and sexual health
  • Digestion, energy, and recovery
  • Brain, cognition, mental health, and stress
  • Circulation and overall performance, physically and mentally

Pregnancy (briefly)
Movement, reproductive health, conception, and preparing the body for labour

Menopause and Beyond (brief or main, depending on the group)
Strength, resilience, metabolic and hormonal shifts, and what actually helps

Kay Charalambous
CrossFit Level 2 Trainer | Women’s Training Specialist

Kay is a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer specialising in women’s training across all life stages, from cycle-aware movement and competitive performance to pregnancy and menopause transitions.

With over 10 years of competitive experience and more than 5 years of coaching, Kay works with:

  • Active women who want to train in tune with their menstrual cycle
  • Competitive women, whether in sport, business, or life
  • Women navigating pregnancy and postpartum transitions
  • Women entering or moving through menopause

Her approach blends science, experience, and respect for the realities of women’s bodies. No dogma. No one-size-fits-all solutions.
