About this Event

If you answered “yes” to up-close-and-personal time with sweet, calming alpacas - here's your chance! For this picnic, we will also be enjoying a sunset among The Rockies!

Join us for a delightful Alpaca Picnic! Bring your favorite food and non-alcoholic drink to enjoy a meal al fresco, surrounded by the charming company of alpacas.

Your host will provide a scenic picnic space and a custom dessert to sweeten the day. It's the perfect opportunity to relax, connect with nature, and spend time with these gentle creatures.

Guests will also have the opportunity to feed the alpacas and play yard games.

Don't forget your picnic blanket (that can get farm-y) or chair (some tables will be available).

Check-in begins 15 minutes before the tour begins. (Example: For a 4:00 p.m. event, check-in at 3:45 p.m. to receive your snack cup and review and sign a waiver.)

Things to note:

• No pets can accompany participants on the tour. This is a working farm and the safety of all of our animals and yours is a top priority.
• Gates open 15 minutes prior to start time.
• Tours start promptly at start time.
• Gates close at starting time. For the enjoyment and safety of all, admittance is not permitted once the tour begins.
• Consumption of alcohol just prior to or during the tour is prohibited.
• We will be outside in open space with little to no shade.
• Water bottles are allowed.
• Closed-toe shoes are required.
• My She Was Yarn Alpacas reserves the right to refuse service if staff believe participation in the activity would be dangerous to either the visitors or the animals.
• Colorado weather can be unpredictable. This is an outdoor activity, and cancellations can occur due to weather or environmental conditions. If we decide to cancel an event, a full refund will be given to participants. In some instances, we may be able to delay the start time and continue with the tour. You will have the option for a full refund or can choose to wait for the delayed start.
