Manchester Museum opens its doors for a special day of culture and nature aimed at people aged 50 and over.
About this Event

Experience the Museum at a quiet time and visit our brand new temporary exhibition Human Natures in this Age Friendly Culture Monday.

Human Natures explores stories of overconsumption and overexploitation of animals, plants and minerals. It looks at the consequences this has for climate, biodiversity and people but it also shares inspiring examples of individuals and organisations taking action to live in balance with nature.

On the day, you will be able to attend a tour led by one of the exhibiton curators and also to participate on a sewing workshop. No experience needed.

Please note the Museum Cafe is closed of Mondays. We will provide tea and coffee, and you are more than welcome to bring your packed lunch.

This event can be booked via Eventbrite, by emailing [email protected] or by calling 07818 578 474
