Stories From Between Places: Myanmar Life in Thailand and UK
About this Event
The photographs and stories were created from a Myanmar‑led research project by Dr Nay Myo Htet at the University of Manchester.
What to Expect at the Event
- A selection of photo-stories in English for you to read.
- A short talk, "Living in the in-between" by Dr Nay Myo Htet, followed by Q & A.
- An opportunity to celebrate Refugee Week, meet and chat with like-minded people.
- Craft activities for ages 3 and upwards.
Planning Your Visit
We are offering two time slots for you to visit the exhibition:
- 5:00PM to 6:00PM - Exhibition viewing only. Guests will be requested to vacate the space at 6pm (last entry at 5:30).
- 6:00PM to 7:30PM - Talk + exhibition viewing. Dr Nay Myo Htet will give a talk at 6:30pm, followed by Q & A. Guests will have time to view the exhibition before and after the talk.
