Welcome, welcome, welcome, women!
Your Hudson MA Women's Red Tent returns! On Saturday, March 7, 12-5, please join us as we gather together with you again inside the warm and welcoming walls of our Red Tent for a Women's Day Retreat experience.
We step into the Well as together we reweave the web of women's community.
“Wholeness, Healing and Harmony”: all three of these concepts are most aspirational. In reflecting upon how we can look at these ideas, we get to list Wholeness first, as a reminder that we arrive already complete in this moment, exceedingly Enough, just as we are here and now. Everything we’ve ever been through matters. May we never delay or deny our innate wholeness and our joy just because we haven’t met some expectation we set for ourselves, a trap so many women have been conditioned to fall into. Let’s flip that narrative! As our cover image illustrates, when we envision the growth of a lotus, we add vitality to our journey through visualizing that our roots and stems, and even our mud, can be spaces of vibrancy as much as our eventual blossoming.
During our time together, we will revisit some familiar activities to welcome you Home. And we look forward to sharing some new ideas with you, such as group singing! Come, let's gather together inside the Red Tent, in Safe Space, where we can be ourselves and Share Our Stories. You are invited!
The Red Tent movement, inspired by Anita Diamant’s fictional story "The Red Tent" and founded by women’s visionary ALisa Starkweather, supports women in reclaiming the gifts of community as we gather together to co-create intimate, woman-centered, restorative, secular, confidential Safe Space. We practice and receive Deep Listening that we may be present with our Authentic Selves. There's never an obligation to share: this time is for YOU! Just come to absorb the loving vibes of fabulous womanspace if you like.
This WomanSpace is created for adult and mature teen individuals who are walking a woman’s path.
What to bring:
- Dress comfortably (you are invited to bring slippers, yoga pillows, etc., whatever will make you feel even more at home).
- Please bring a lunch item or snack to share! And, whether bought or made, if you are able, please share the ingredients for those of us who have allergies. PLEASE AVOID BRINGING ITEMS WHICH CONTAIN PEANUTS and TREE NUTS. Thanks!
- If you are able, we welcome financial donations ($10 suggested) to help cover our costs, and to enable us to continue this work.

- If you don't feel well, in the interest of protecting our higher-risk Sisters, please mask up or stay home. Many thanks for helping to take care of all of us!
- Please be mindful so as not to overuse high-fragrance products; some attendees are scent-sitive.

Many thanks for your contributions to making this a Safe and Restorative space for all!
