Hormone Rebalance with Senior Yoga & Qigong Teacher Sarah Manning
About this Event
Hormone Rebalance Workshop (2-Part Series)
with Sarah Manning
🗓️ 2 Sessions 15th Aug & 5th Sep
⏰ 7.30–9.00am
📍 Botanic Gardens (Cluny Court, Botanic Garden MRT Exit A)
Feeling tired despite sleeping enough? Always wired but exhausted? Struggling with bloating, stubborn weight, painful periods, menopause symptoms, frequent illness, or simply feeling like your body isn't working with you?
Your hormones play a powerful role in regulating your energy, mood, metabolism, digestion, immunity and reproductive health. When stress becomes chronic, your body prioritises survival over repair—leaving many of these systems out of balance.
As Sarah often says:
"When you're being chased by a tiger, your body doesn't stop to fix your runny nose, digest your breakfast, or think about making babies."
In today's world, the "tiger" may be work, family responsibilities, endless notifications or simply never switching off. This workshop is designed to help your nervous system feel safe again, allowing your body to begin restoring balance naturally.
Over two immersive sessions, you'll learn practical yoga-based techniques that you can use long after the workshop to regulate your stress response and support healthier hormone function.
What you'll experience
- Release chronic tension held in the neck, shoulders and upper back
- Improve spinal mobility to help the body move and breathe with greater ease
- Learn breathing techniques that provide one of the fastest ways to calm the nervous system
- Explore mindful movement that naturally slows and deepens the breath
- Experience restorative yoga practices that encourage deep relaxation and recovery
- Leave with simple tools you can incorporate into your daily life whenever stress starts to take over
This workshop may benefit you if you experience:
- Chronic stress or burnout
- Fatigue or poor-quality sleep
- Digestive issues such as bloating or constipation
- Hormonal changes including PMS, menstrual discomfort, perimenopause or menopause
- Frequent illness or lowered immunity
- A busy lifestyle that leaves little time to truly slow down
You don't need to be flexible or experienced in yoga—just come with an open mind and a willingness to give your body the space to reset.
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do for our health isn't to push harder—but to slow down enough for the body to remember how to heal.
Things to bring:
Yoga mat, face towel, water bottle, insect repellent
