Honoring Our Roots – Andean Ceremony & Munay-Ki Daykeeper Rite (Istanbul)

Have you ever felt disconnected from your roots, from nature, or from your sense of belonging?

According to Andean tradition, our connection extends beyond the mother and father who brought us into this world. We are also connected to our parents in nature: the mountains, rivers, forests and land of the place where we were born. This in-person afternoon in Istanbul brings together two Andean practices to reconnect with those roots.

PART ONE – The Nace Estrella Despacho (Parents in Nature Ceremony)

A ceremony of gratitude and intention honouring our parents in nature, known in the Andean teachings as Itu Apu and Paqarina.

PART TWO – The Munay-Ki Daykeeper Rite (Pampamesayoq)

An energetic transmission connected with Pachamama (Mother Earth), the feminine energy within us and living in harmony with life – a seed you nourish through your own practice, so you leave more grounded, balanced and connected with your true self.

How the afternoon unfolds:

• Arrival and opening of the ceremonial space

• Andean teachings on our parents in nature, Itu Apu and Paqarina

• Creating the Nace Estrella Despacho together, with your intentions and gratitude

• Receiving the Munay-Ki Daykeeper Rite

• Closing of the ceremony

Led by Daniel Donciu (Munayni Shamanic Practice), senior teacher with The Four Winds, trained with Andean shamans, Alberto Villoldo and Marcela Lobos, has facilitated Andean ceremonies for over 10 years.
