Topic: Prepping, Preserving and your Pantry. Do you want to reduce your weekly grocery bill? Are you keen to learn how to preserve your homegrown produce? Eating your produce fresh from the garden is very satisfying. Equally enjoyable is opening a bottle of homemade sauce or gifting a jar of your home preserved jam. So, What preserving methods are available? How do you choose the right one and where do you purchase supplies? A well-stocked pantry isn’t just full of fruits and vegies. So, What about the foods you don’t grow? How can we more economically source these staples? In this workshop, we will explore ways to stock your pantry, creating a bit of a buffer and reduce your food costs.
