Get into the holiday spirit while learning a practical life skill at this festive session of Homeschool Home Ec! Students will explore different types of soaps and discover beneficial ingredients that can help support healthy skin, from moisturizing oils to nourishing botanical extracts.
Then the fun truly begins! Each student will create their own Christmas Tree Soap using a melt-and-pour soap base. Participants will learn the basics of soap making while choosing from a variety of colors and fragrances to create a custom holiday-themed soap to take home.
Fragrance Options:
☕Peppermint Cocoa: Peppermint Cocoa combines rich chocolate indulgence with cooling mint. Crushed peppermint and fresh mint leaves provide an invigorating opening, while dark and white chocolate with cocoa nibs create a decadent center. Confectionary sugar and vanilla bean deliver a sweet, refreshing finish.
🌲Tinsel & Pine: Tinsel and Pine delivers fresh winter magic with sparkling citrus and crisp evergreens. Italian lemon brightens pine needles and eucalyptus, while blue spruce and juniper berries add depth. Clove leaf, fir balsam, and spun sugar create a lightly sweet finish reminiscent of fresh snow on evergreen boughs.
