Irish chef Darina Allen’s childhood memories inspired this month’s recipe! During harvest time, a special bread would be served to threshers. White flour and egg may seem commonplace today, but among poor families of the time, these ingredients were luxuries.
Kids of all ages are invited to come to the library for a fun cooking class. While our cakes bake we’ll share stories of our own food memories. The session will wrap up with a tasting of our hot-from-the-oven cakes!
