Calling all craft lovers! Come to Adult Craft Hour, a fun and relaxing opportunity for adults to get creative. Each session will feature a different themed craft, with all supplies provided by the library. Whether you're an experienced crafter or a beginner looking to learn, this hour is for you!
How It Works:
Join us in person to enjoy crafting in a welcoming environment. Guided instruction available for those who are new to the craft. Already know how to do it? Simply come and enjoy the creative process with fellow crafters.

This Month: Vanilla Mint Lip Balms & Whipped Sugar Scrub
This month, learn how to make two amazing DIY products perfect for stuffing in stockings!
Vanilla Mint Lip Balms: Participants will make their own lip balms using a blend of olive oil, coconut oil, and agave extract - a moisturizing combination that helps keep lips hydrated. The balms are scented with Vanilla Mint, a sweet mix of peppermint candy, anise, and warm vanilla notes. Learn how each ingredient works, how to melt and combine the oils, and how to safely pour and set their finished balm.
Whipped Sugar Scrub: This Body Scrub leaves skin feeling soft and silky smooth. Skin-loving squalane oil and Aloe Butter are whipped together with Foaming Bath Butter to create a smooth base for the sugar. Foaming Bath Butter lathers when introduced to water, so the scrub washes off the skin without an oily residue. It's scented with Fresh Snow Fragrance, a mix of heliotrope, spring water, juniper berry, vetiver, and sandalwood. The scent is similar to clean laundry or fresh cotton.
All supplies will be provided, making this a fun, low‑pressure way to try something new - and you’ll get to take home some great products!
