This is a free pre-registration for our upcoming Fall 2026 cohort. By signing up today, you're not committing to payment just yet, you're simply raising your hand to get priority access.
Here's what happens next:
- You'll receive a confirmation email with a warm welcome.
- You'll be directed to a Google form to share a bit about your coffee journey.
- We'll follow up personally to answer any questions and guide you through the final registration and payment process.
Tuition: $489 CAD (Final registration and payment completed through Al-Barista Academy)

About The Home Barista Academy
The Home Barista Academy is a 3-month guided learning program designed for home baristas who want to build real skills not just copy latte art from social media.
Unlike a one-time workshop, this academy gives you the time, structure and support needed to practice between sessions, receive feedback and steadily improve your milk texturing, pouring technique, espresso workflow, and overall consistency.
Whether you're starting from absolute zero or already have some experience, the Academy will meet you where you are and guide you step-by-step toward building confidence and consistency.
The Starter Workshop is a great introduction, but it is not required to join the Academy.
What's Included in Your Journey:
- 3-month guided learning experience
- Three in-person workshops in Kanata (one every 3–4 weeks)
- Each workshop approximately 2.5 hours of hands-on practice
- Homework and practice exercises between sessions
- Direct messenger support throughout the entire program
- Certificate of Completion to celebrate your progress
By the end of the program, you'll have a strong foundation in home espresso preparation, milk texturing and latte art techniques along with the skills and confidence to keep growing long after the Academy ends.
