Welcome to our in-person event where we'll explore holistic strategies to help you manage PMS and difficult periods. Join licensed acupuncturist and herbalist Aimee Miller in this free community health talk on how to transform your monthly cycle into a time of balanced renewal, and not a time of physical and/or emotional suffering! We will discuss how you can create hormonal harmony in your cycles-- using nutrition, Western and Chinese herbs, and essential oils. You will also learn self-healing practices and rituals, including some simple Qigong exercises for relieving emotional tension. This talk is for women who struggle with PMS symptoms and/or painful periods that are impeding their quality of life. Having a balanced menstrual cycle also sets the stage for optimal fertility AND a smoother transition into perimenopause. Informational handouts, recipes, refreshments, and herbal product samples will be provided.
