Holiday Mexican Tamales and Treats – Chef Luis - Cooking Class

Festive Mexican tamales, perfect for family traditions!

On the menu tonight:

• Starter: Pozole Verde: chicken and chewy hominy mingle in a boldly flavored blend of pureed tomatillos, cilantro, and chiles for this cozy pozole.
• Main: Tamales de Pollo con Salsa Roja: steamed masa (corn dough) dumplings filled with seasoned shredded chicken and a flavorful red salsa.

Optional: Come up and help Chef making Tamales yourself!

• Dessert: Buñuelos con Piloncillo : classic Mexican holiday treat of crispy, fried fritters drizzled with a rich, spiced cane sugar syrup

$119+ gst per person (please purchase one ticket per attendees)

Want to save the Eventbrite fee? You can register in person and over the phone directly with the store (604) 939-6200. Payment is required when you register - visa, MasterCard, gift certificates are accepted over the phone, cash and debit in person.

We have a 72 hours cancelation policy. If you need to cancel but have not given 72 hours notice, no refund, transfer to another class or credit will be issued, but you can send somebody in your place.

In the event that not enough participants are registered, we would have to cancel the class. We will notify registered participants at least 48 hrs prior and issue a full refund.

Please inquire prior to booking if there are any food concern. Menu modifications can not be provided during the event.
