The TUSA Food Hub is a weekly initiative providing free and affordable food for UTAS students. We are open every Wednesday from 1–3 PM (excluding public holidays).

How does the ticketing system work?
Students can pre-book a ticket via QPay to access the Food Hub or grab a ticket on the day.
Tickets are capped weekly to ensure fair distribution of food.
Ticketed sessions are divided into 50-minute time slots.
One ticket per student per week – no collecting for friends.
After booking, students receive a ticket confirmation and collection details via email.
How much does it cost to access the Food Hub?
The Food Hub is a partially paid service for UTAS students. Registration is essential, and students must bring their UTAS ID card.
💡 Ticket Options:
Free Ticket: Access to fruit, vegetables, frozen items, unlimited bread, and the free items table.
Basic Bundle ($5 donation): 5 pantry items, plus access to fruit, vegetables, frozen items unlimited bread, and the free items table.
Premium Bundle ($8 donation): 8 pantry items, plus access to fruit, vegetables, frozen items, unlimited bread and the free items table.

We partner with Loaves & Fishes, Foodbank Tasmania, OzHarvest & Gateway Life to source food, so stock availability varies weekly.
