Looking for a new challenge? Join us in person to learn more about the Band 5 Pr*son Nurse role at HMP Birmingham! This event is perfect if you're interested in stepping into the role of a Band 5 Pr*son Nurse. You'll gain insight of what working inside a Pr*son healthcare setting is really like. Come along, ask questions, and explore this unique nursing opportunity in a supportive environment. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!

The day will be filled with amazing opportunities for your gain. Upon arrival of your booked slot time, you will be given the chance to liaise with staff from HMP Birmingham and explore this exceptional nursing opportunity. If interested, you will complete a Proforma, detailing your experiences and stating your NMC PIN. Following this, you will complete a 30min Drug Calculation Test and if successful, be given a chance to interview for the role. After meeting all of the above requirements, you will provide your ID Documents (highlighted below) for verification checks and be provided with a Hidden Link Slip to make your application on Trac and be offered an employment position within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (Subject to successful completion of all pre employment checks and Pr*son Vetting)

Original ID Documents Required:

  • Right to Work- Passport (E-Visa and Sharecode if applicable)
  • 2x Proof of Address- Utility bill (gas, electricity, water), Bank or building society statement, Council tax bill – current financial year, Mortgage statement or tenancy agreement, Official government letters (e.g. HMRC, benefits letters), Driving/ Provisional License
  • Original Qualifications and Proof of NMC PIN
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate
