About the Event
Join us for an awesome in-person event all about breast health! A safe, empowering and engaging workshop created for Black women and women of mixed Black heritage to come together, learn and connect.
This interactive session is designed to raise awareness around breast health in a way that feels accessible, supportive and real. You'll gain practical knowledge on how to check your breasts, recognise changes and understand the importance of early detection; while also exploring how lifestyle, movement and nutrition can play a role in prevention.

Lived Experience
We are honoured to be joined by our host, Rebbecca Hemmings, who will be sharing her lived experience with Stage 4 Breast Cancer.
Her story brings a powerful and honest perspective, helping to open up important conversations and deepen understanding.
Food & Drinks
Enjoy a delicious Caribbean-inspired vegan whole food meal provided by I Heart Food in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We will also be providing free Tea & Coffee.
Creative Expereince
Take part in a guided painting session where you'll create your own artistic interpretation of the female form. Designed to encourage expression, confidence and connection.

Your Voice Matters
Breast Cancer UK are keen to understand which everyday products you would like to see more research on in relation to prevention.
We recognise that much of the existing research has historically focused on white populations, leaving gaps in understanding around products and exposures commonly used by Black women.
This is your opportunity to share your voice and help shape future research, conversations and awareness.
