History of the Cherokee...
A people born from the mists of the Appalachian Mountains. A civilization that carved a sovereign nation from the wilderness, guided by laws of balance and blood. A nation that, facing annihilation, created a written language through the genius of one of their own—Sequoyah, a man who achieved what no other in recorded history had done. This is the story of the Aniyvwiya, the Principal People—an epic of extraordinary resilience. A people who stood against empires, built a republic, survived a holocaust, and refused to disappear. How did they navigate the brutal forces of colonization, war, and removal? How did they turn the tools of their oppressors into instruments of survival? And what does their enduring story teach us about the true meaning of nationhood?
