Join us for an evening with Dr Callum Watson, Guide at Bannockburn Centre and author of 1314: The Year of Bannockburn (2024). Callum will discuss for the relative absence of political violence during the reign of Robert II, how political violence was deployed during the reign, to explore why it was so limited, and to consider the extent to which Robert himself was responsible for this phenomenon.All Sessions held at 7pm within Dundonald Castle Visitor Centre.
